Anne Wegener Sleeswijk

Biography

Dr. Anne Wegener Sleeswijk is Lecturer in History, Université Paris-1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Her PhD was on trade and consumption of French wine in the United Provinces in the 18th century (Uv Amsterdam et EHESS Paris, 2006). She authored a number of articles on the history of international trade and on wine consumption: ‘Du nectar et de la godaille: qualité et falsification du vin aux Provinces-Unies, XVIIIe siècle’, RHMC (2004); Hearing, Seeing, Tasting and Bidding. Information at the Dutch Auction of Commodities in the 18th Century, in: Leos Müller and Jari Ojala, (dir.), Information Flows (2007); Une affaire huguenote?
