Lola Wilhelm


Lola Wilhelm is a final-year PhD student from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, currently based in Oxford for the academic year 2018-2019 as a “doc.mobility” fellow of the Swiss National Science Foundation. Her thesis focuses on the involvement Nestlé in three entangled fields of international public affairs: agriculture, medicine and public health, and humanitarian relief and development aid, from the late nineteenth century to the 1960s. She has published articles in academic and humanitarian journals, including The Round Table and the Overseas Development Institute’s Humanitarian Exchange Magazine.
