Suzanne Cope


Suzanne Cope is the author of the book Small Batch: Pickles, Cheese, Chocolate, Spirits and the Return of Artisanal Food (Rowman & Littlefield) and has written about food and culture for academic and popular publications, including the New York Times, BBC, The Atlantic, among others. Dr. Cope has also presented at numerous food studies and media conferences, including ASFS, Northeast Modern Language Association (NEMLA), and  American Society for Aesthetics.  She is a language lecturer at NYU and is working on a book project about the role of food as a weapon in the American Civil Rights efforts.
